Connect Threads

1. Before You Begin

Ensure your Instagram profile is connected to Threads

To link your Threads account with Outfy, your Instagram profile must already be linked to Threads. If this hasn’t been done, make sure to connect your Instagram profile to Threads first.

Log out of Instagram in any open browser tabs

To avoid login conflicts, it’s recommended to log out of your Instagram account in other tabs before starting the connection process in Outfy.

2. Connect Threads to Outfy

  • In a separate browser tab or window, log out of Threads.
  • On Outfy, go to the Networks page (located on the left panel), Click on the Threads tab to proceed.
  • If your Threads account is not yet connected to Outfy, you will see a button: Add Threads Account. Click this button to start connecting your Threads profile.A window will appear that says: Connect your Threads account.

  • You will then be prompted to log in to your Threads account. Enter your Instagram account credentials (email and password), and select Log In.

  • On the next screen, you’ll be asked to Authorize Outfy. Select Continue as [profile name]. This step does not add your profile to Outfy but authorizes Outfy to access your accounts associated with Threads.
  • Congratulations! You have successfully connected your Threads account to Outfy.

3. Troubleshooting

Error: Unable to Connect Threads Account

If you encounter an error while trying to connect your Threads account, ensure that you are logged out of both Threads and Instagram in a separate browser tab. After logging out, try reconnecting your Threads account to Outfy by following the steps provided.

Incorrect Instagram Account Logged In

If the wrong Instagram account gets connected during the process, log out of Instagram in all browser tabs. Then, start the connection process again on Outfy. You will be prompted to enter the correct Instagram credentials.

Connection Loop or Freezing

If the connection process freezes or loops, try clearing your browser cache and cookies, then attempt the connection again.

Still Can't Connect?

If none of these solutions work, contact Outfy’s support team for further assistance. Make sure to provide details of the issue and any error messages you received during the connection process.
